My name is Federico Godoy, I am a Uruguayan ​ballet teacher specialized in the Vaganova ​Methodology.

Since 2018, I am a Teacher at the Sodre National ​School, where I teach courses in Classical ​Technique, Repertoire and Pas de Deux.

In addition, I am a teacher of advanced levels at ​the Alejandro Godoy Ballet School and I offer ​Masterclasses in various schools in Uruguay.

As a ballet teacher, my pedagogical approach is based ​on the conviction that dance is an artistic expression ​that goes beyond technique. My goal is to provide ​students with not only the necessary technical skills, ​but also a deep understanding of character, ​musicality, and artistic expression in each movement ​of their performance.

My commitment to continuous professional development is ​reflected in my constant search for new perspectives and ​techniques in the field of ballet. Throughout my career as a ​dancer, I have had the privilege of working for 10 years at the ​Sodre National Ballet with renowned teachers and ​choreographers from the world of ballet. This experience ​allows me to share valuable knowledge with my students to ​stand out in the main companies.

Currently, I hold two certifications as a teacher ​specialized in the Vaganova Method from the ​Escola do Teatro Bolshoi no Brasil. These ​certifications represent a differential that ​guarantees high quality training for all my ​students.
